Neil Buss

Neil Buss is the Founding and Lead Pastor at Mission. He and his wife, Sommer, have been married for twenty-three years and they are blessed with three boys. After years of serving in missions and church planting in Italy, Neil and Sommer returned back to Norman to plant Mission. Their desire is to see church lived out authentically for the sake of the gospel in their neighborhood, city, and around the world. Their passion is to see people love and follow Jesus with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Adam Oxsen

Worship Pastor

Adam and his wife, Sherise, are lifelong natives of Norman and are blessed with three children. Adam studied art and filmmaking at the University of Oklahoma. For the past decade, Adam has used his love for music to serve Christ leading both congregational and student worship. He is passionate about the gospel and the history of the church, for living a life fully-integrated with biblical faith, and in building up the next generation of leaders for Christ. Adam and Sherise helped found Mission and use their musical giftings to lead others to worship the Lord in spirit and in truth.

Jim Goodnow

Jim and his wife Barbara serve Mission faithfully with joy, compassion, hospitality, generosity, and wisdom. They have been blessed with two sons and six grandchildren.

David and his wife Leisa have served Mission faithfully from the beginning of Mission’s first gathering with much discernment, unselfishness, and care. They have been blessed with two daughters and six grandchildren.

Mission Kids Coordinator

Sommer Buss

Sommer has a heart to see kids know and love Jesus. She oversees Mission Kids, helping encourage and support teachers and volunteers as well as helping come alongside parents who are raising a generation of children to know and walk in relationship with Christ.

The Orchard Coordinator

Leisa Peetoom

The Orchard is our women’s ministry at Mission and Leisa faithfully serves to oversee this area along with an amazing team of other women. Her heart is for women to love Jesus with all their heart and grow in their walk with Him.
